	Selima will be teaching  basic rhythms on the doumbec  and the frame drum.  She will be teaching  techniques that include the four elements of creation: Earth, Fire, Water and Air.  Classes will include rhythms from around the world. Selima is of Afghani decent and has studied music  virtually her entire life. She has played piano and cello since age 5.  She has studied drum with Layne Redmond and Glen Valez since 1995.  Selima has studied African dance with Bird Flemming in Kansas City.  She has studied African, Samba, and Afro-Cuban since 1996. Salima has taught drum and dance workshops in Indianapolis with Helena Zahara. Salima has played with Salaam Band and Il Troubadore at Khoury's Mediterian Island. Salima drummed for belly dancers fro OSAIS, Carenza's Caravan, ISAMETD and Troupe Jamileh Malika.  She is available for drum instruction for groups and private lessons.  For more info contact: oudrummer@sbcglobal.net Navelmaneuvers.com
